Hi, I’m Joe Davies. I really love fonts and how they make designs look awesome. For more than ten years, I’ve been all about fonts, trying to help people find the best fonts for their cool projects. That’s why I started Fonts Owl – a place to find fonts easily.
I’m from London, UK, and I was born in 1995. I went to the University of Reading to learn Graphic Design, and I finished in 2015. After school, I worked for different companies, using my design skills to make things look great. But in 2023, I had a big idea – I wanted to create something myself, something that would show off my love for fonts and design. That’s when Fonts Owl came to life.
Ever since I started Fonts Owl, it’s become really popular for finding free fonts. The website has lots of different fonts, from classic ones to modern ones. But it’s not just about giving out fonts – I want to help people understand too. So, I share lots of info about each font, like who made it, how you can use it, and what kind of files it comes with. This helps people choose the perfect font for their projects.
I’m on a mission to make sure everyone can use awesome fonts. I think that everyone should have the chance to make their stuff look cool with great fonts. With Fonts Owl, I’m on a journey to help people show their creativity through fonts.
Where I Have Studied Typography?
I studied typography at the University of Reading Department of Typography & Graphic Communication. The department is highly respected and has a long history of excellence in teaching and research. I was fortunate to learn from some of the leading experts in the field, and I received a rigorous and challenging education.
The department’s curriculum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of typography. I learned about the history of typography, the principles of typography, and the use of typography in design, advertising, publishing, and other fields. I also had the opportunity to develop my skills in typography through practical coursework and projects.
